The news about their survival is a great issue and is all over the newspapers, radios, televisions. To most of the people, the most shocking part of the news is the part where they ate human flesh. So all the 16 survivors are having an interview. They are ready to answer any questions but one which is the question about the cannibalism. They didn’t know how to handle that question. They are aware that cannibalism would be the one of the first questions the press asks. In the end, Pancho Delgado volunteer to tell the truth. What he says is very touching and is enough to move the people’s minds. The interview ends well but the survivors are having problems with their daily life back in the real world. They are having a hard time adapting since their time in Andes has been too hard for them to cope with. They get irritated with the smallest things and eat a lot. They eat so much that most of them gains a lot of weight in only few weeks. On January 18th 1973, the Rescue Corps and some others go back to the Andes mountain and make a grave for those who lost their lives. They have a ceremony and burn the plane.
